If you're using viewer 2.0, then the transparency layer seems to be visible to users of 1.23 series viewers. Unfortunately, if you try to wear it while you're using a 1.23 series viewer, it tells you you have to upgrade. So, for those who plan to continue using 1.23 series viewers, it looks like invisiprims are here to stay.

I think what we'll end up doing is making the avatars with Viewer 2 as the default. And then we'll offer free invisiprims to people who insist on using the old viewer for whatever reason. I don't mind giving them the option to keep their viewer, but I can't stand invisiprims personally.

Neither can I. There's nothing worse than the suspension of disbelief being messed up by giant blocks surrounding your paws. :P

I think *most* people hate invisiprims. And usually SL will force people to upgrade eventually so over time people will all be able to view the alpha masks.
